Post 4999 Department of Illinois Veterans of Foreign Wars is pleased to welcome everyone to our facility. Our site is intended to keep current members as well as all Veterans and the general public informed as to the activities and support we have to offer. VFW Post 4999 represents the soldiers, airmen, and sailors of the past, present and future in the local community. We hope that this site will be informative and helpful for all veterans, members or non members.

Veterans helping veterans. To foster camaraderie among United States veterans of overseas conflicts. To serve men and women veterans, veteran families, the military and the Chillicothe community.
HOURS of operation
Mon - Sat: Noon - 10:00pm
Sunday: Noon - 7:00pm
SCAM ALERT!
The VFW does not call members with overdue or delinquent membership dues. One of our members was recently called about payment of overdue membership dues, which were actually current. Our member provided a good response (one the caller did not like). "I'll just go to the Post and pay them".
