The VFW Auxiliary is made up of men and women who have or had a family member who served our country. Dues are $20 per year. Membership meetings are the first Monday of every month at 2pm except in the months of February and March.

The Auxiliary serves food every Friday night that the Post has BINGO. The kitchen is open from 4:30-6:30 pm.​ The Auxiliary also hosts an annual Christmas potluck, a Christmas raffle, and supplies Christmas gifts to Veterans at Heritage Health.

The Auxiliary gives several gifts to different organizations within the community throughout the year. We give gifts to the Veterans at the ARC nursing home on Valentine's Day, Veterans Day and Christmas. Twice a year, we give gifts to the LaSalle Veterans home. We also donated gifts to the Community Needs Agency bi-annually. Throughout the year, we make donations to others on an as-needed basis, which is discussed at monthly meetings.

We award a yearly $2,000 scholarship to a senior of the Illinois Valley Central High School. Their parent or relative must be eligible as a Veterans of Foreign Wars.
